The Michael J. Entringer Scholarship Classic pairings have been released. 

The event is in remembrance of long-time basketball and football official Mike Entringer, who passed away in 1990. The funds raised from the classics are used to reward student/athletes with scholarships.

In 1994, the first-year scholarships were given out and two were awarded at $250 each. In 2021, 52 were awarded at $1,000 each. A total of 1112 student/athletes have been awarded with a scholarship, totaling $970,000 in total scholarships over the years.

There are 20 participating schools in the event. The funds to offer these scholarships are raised from the participating communities collecting advertisements and sponsorships that are presented in the classic program. Also, a silent auction, raffle, hoop shoot, along with other miscellaneous acts help provide the scholarships.
