Potter County 42, Warner 40

GETTYSBURG — Potter County edged Warner in a boys basketball contest on Saturday. 

Potter County’s Cooper Logan and Grant Luikens finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Luikens added seven rebounds. Drake Bassett logged eight points and five rebounds. Seth Sharp finished with four points and seven rebounds. Logan Decker grabbed six rebounds. 

Warner’s Hunter Cramer led the Monarchs with 12 points and four rebounds. Peyton Jung had a 10-point, 14-rebound double-double. Isaac Hoeft finished with eight points, while Levi Scepaniak had five points and five rebounds. 

Ipswich 61, Webster Area 53

IPSWICH — Webster Area pulled away from Ipswich for a boys basketball win on Saturday. 

Ian Beyers finished with 21 points, six rebounds and four steals. Taylor Thorson recorded 14 points, while Trevor Beyers had 10 pints. Ty Kadlec had nine points, five rebounds and five assists. 

Webster Area’s Jaydon Keller recorded 21 points and 11 boards. Jaiden McCreary had eight points, while Jacob Pereboom finished with seven points, seven rebounds and four assists. Gavin Sannes added six points and four rebounds. 

Timber Lake 55, Strasburg-Zeeland, N.D., 14

MOBRIDGE — Timber Lake rolled to a boys basketball win over Strasburg-Zeeland, N.D., on Saturday at the Mobridge Rotary Classic. 

Hank Kraft led the Panthers with 16 points. Chazz Gabe and Brandt Ducheneaux had seven points apiece. Kedrick Martin scored six points, while Tristan Dupris and Chase Marshall scored five points apiece. 

South Border, N.D., 75, McIntosh 51

MOBRIDGE — South Border, N.D., topped McIntosh on Saturday at the Mobridge Rotary Classic. 

South Border’s Trevor Schmidt finished with 20 points and Kaden Bader had 16 points.

McIntosh’s Charles Taken Alive scored 24 points and Clayton Brown Otter tossed in 19 points. 

Scotland 56, Andes Central/Dakota Christian 54

SCOTLAND — Scotland nipped Andes Central/Dakota Christian in boys basketball action on Saturday. 

Stephen Johnson recorded 15 points and four assists. Dawson Bietz added nine points, six rebounds and three steals. Parker Hochstein grabbed seven rebounds. 

ACDC’s Nolan Black Cloud recorded 14 points, six steals and three assists. Rizon Clark had 13 points, while Julius Bruguier finished with 12 points. Mason Olson grabbed 11 rebounds. 

Girls basketball

Parkston 51, Lennox 34

PARKSTON — Three players scored in double figures to lead Parkston to a girls basketball victory over Lennox on Saturday.

Abby Hohn finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Allison Ziebart added 12 points and four assists. Faith Oakley had 10 points and five rebounds. 

Lennox’s Dani Highum finished with 13 points and eight boards. Alicia Ruud had eight points and Andie Peters added four points. 

Warner 54, Potter County 31

GETTYSBURG — Ava Nilsson and Kamryn Anderson combined for 27 points to lead Warner to a girls basketball win over Potter County on Saturday. 

Nilsson finished with 15 points and four rebounds. Anderson added 12 points and seven rebounds. Jennifer Aman had nine points and nine rebounds. Kyra Marcuson finished with seven points, while Peyton Fisher had five points and four rebounds. 

Potter County’s Tyler Simon netted 19 points. Ashlee Kaup logged five points and seven rebounds. Kayden Cronin grabbed six rebounds. 

Elkton-Lake Benton 38, Wilmot 33

COLMAN — Elkton-Lake Benton topped Wilmot at the Entringer Classic on Saturday in girls basketball action.

Rachael Krog paced the Elks with 18 points and six steals. Tevan Erickson added eight points and five rebounds. Kylie Ramlo had six points and six rebounds. 

Wilmot’s Madeline Remund finished with a game-high 20 points and five boards. Paige Johnson finished with six points. Marissa Retzlaff and Kayla Hamman had seven points apiece. 

Mobridge-Pollock 62, Herreid/Selby Area 56

MOBRIDGE — Mariah Goehring and Landyn Henderson combined for 37 points to lift Mobridge-Pollock to a girls basketball win over Herreid/Selby Area on Saturday at the Mobridge Rotary Classic. 

Goehring finished with 23 points, while Henderson had 14 points and four rebounds. Heidi Olson added eight points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals. Emma Keller finished with six points and four rebounds. Reagan Weisbeck had six points and Katy Kemnitz finished with five points.

HSA’s Kendell Sawsinky had 21 points and seven steals. Jada Rossow recorded 12 points and eight rebounds. Bella Brandner had nine points and five rebounds. Jennica Berens finished with eight points and six rebounds. 

Timber Lake 61, South Border, N.D., 47

MOBRIDGE — Carlie Lawrence and Maci Maher combined for 36 points to lead Timber Lake to a girls basketball win over South Border, N.D., on Saturday at the Mobridge Rotary Classic. 

Lawrence finished with 21 points and hit three 3-pointers. Maher added 15 pints. Kessa Bigger finished with eight points and McKenzi Vomacka scored seven points. 

Andes Central/Dakota Christian 42, Scotland 25

SCOTLAND — Andes Central/Dakota Christian picked up a girls basketball win over Scotland on Saturday. 

ACDC’s Josie Brouwer finished with 16 points and five steals. Allison Muckey added nine points and four steals. Lexie VanderPol had six rebounds and three assists. Kylie Olson logged five rebounds and three assists. 

Scotland’s Jenna Vitek had eight points and four steals. Trinity Bietz finished with six points and 11 rebounds. Delanie VanDriel grabbed nine rebounds. 

Rapid City Central 43, Rapid City Stevens 39

RAPID CITY — Rapid City Central edged rival and Class AA No. 5 Rapid City Stevens in girls basketball action on Saturday. 

Rapid City Central’s Josie Hill finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Sadie Glade had 11 points and seven rebounds. Deana Smith added five points. 

Stevens’ Jayda McNabb and Jillian Delzer scored 10 points apiece. McNabb grabbed nine boards and dished out five assists. Taaliyah Porter put in nine points and Macey Wethen had six points. 

Sioux Falls Washington 86, Harrisburg 80 

HARRISBURG — Class AA No. 1 Sioux Falls Washington held off Class AA No. 5 Harrisburg in a girls basketball contest on Saturday.

Ndjakelanga Mwenentanda paced the Warriors with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Brooklyn Harpe added 22 points, while Alexis Motley and Taylor Thompson scored 13 points apiece.

Harrisburg’s Hannah Eide had 24 points. Emilee Boyer finished with 20 points and 10 assists. Sydney Hybertson added 14 points. 

Sioux Falls Jefferson 40, Sioux Falls Lincoln 35

SIOUX FALLS — Sioux Falls Jefferson outscored Sioux Falls Lincoln 14-9 in the fourth quarter to secure a girls basketball win on Saturday. 

Taliyah Hayes finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Aliyah McGovern added 10 points. Nancy Peters posted six points and five rebounds. Jaidyn Dunn had five points and six rebounds. Cierra Watkins finished with four points and four rebounds. 

Lincoln’s Addie Fawcett scored 11 points, while Alaina Sorensen had 10 points. Mariah Siem finished with six points, while Ady Sand had five points.
