Pierre 68, Rapid City Stevens 38

RAPID CITY -- Pierre picked up a 30-point win over Rapid City Stevens and handed Brianna Kusler her first-ever coaching victory on Friday. Kusler is the first-ever female to coach a Class AA boys basketball team. 

Lincoln Kienholz led the Governors with 17 points. Jackson Edman added 15 points and Matthew Hanson scored 13 points. Jett Zabel collected 10 rebounds and six points. 

Stevens’ Nate Kindred had a team-high nine points.

Tiospa Zina 60, Redfield 50

REDFIELD -- Juron Adams netted 30 points to lift Tiospa Zina to a boys basketball win over Redfield on Friday. 

Javyn Adams added nine points and Perry Lufkins scored eight points. Storm Sierra hauled in a team-high 10 rebounds. 

Redfield’s Mitchell Mack tossed in 21 points and Peyton Osborn netted 18 points. Nolan Gall scored six points. Mack collected 10 boards and Justin Ratigan added eight rebounds. 

Timber Lake 61, Lemmon 49

LEMMON -- Three players scored in double figures to pace Timber Lake to a boys basketball win over Lemmon on Friday.

Hank Kraft led the way with 16 points, while Dixon Booth tossed in 14 points. Chazz Gabe netted 12 points. 

Lemmon’s Tell Mollman scored 16 points and Talon Trogstad had 12 points. Tanner Miller added 11 points. 

Deuel 70, Aberdeen Roncalli 45

CLEAR LAKE -- Deuel topped Aberdeen Roncalli in boys basketball action on Friday. 

Gavin Benck finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Cooper Schiernbeck finished with 16 points, eight assists and four steals. Naethan Lovre added 13 points, three rebounds and three assists. Trey Maaland logged 10 points and Zane Bingham had seven points. 

Aberdeen Roncalli’s Keegan Stewart had 23 points and four rebounds. Zeerom Mounga added seven points and three rebounds. 

Standing Rock, N.D., 79, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 77

EAGLE BUTTE -- Standing Rock, North Dakota, outlasted Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in a boys basketball thriller on Friday.

Standing Rock’s Ty Giroux scored a team-high 17 points. Bradley Harrison added 15 points and Drew Bordeaux scored 12 points. Lance Bradley added 11 points and Carter Harrison tossed in nine points. 

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte’s Rance Harrison tossed in 22 points, while Elijah Brewer and Kanon Keckler scored 18 points apiece. Teysean Eaglestaff added 10 points and Nashon LeBeau scored seven points. 

Girls basketball

Aberdeen Roncalli 67, Deuel 35

CLEAR LAKE -- Class B No. 1 Aberdeen Roncalli picked up a girls basketball win over Deuel on Friday.

Madelyn Bragg led the Cavaliers with 21 points, while Morgan Fiedler tossed in 19 points. Jeci Ewart added seven points. 

Deuel’s Haley Winter finished with 17 points and six rebounds. Harley Henninga had seven points and Josie Anderson collected five rebounds. 

Timber Lake 50, Lemmon 38

LEMMON -- Timber Lake held off Lemmon for a girls basketball victory on Friday. 

Carlie Lawrence paced the Panthers with 21 points, including three 3-pointers. Jasmine Nash added 12 points. Maci Maher and Abby Linderman scored six and five points, respectively.

Lemmon’s Jaedyn Byre scored 12 points and hit three 3-pointers. Allie Kohn tossed in 10 points. 

Mobridge-Pollock 59, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte 31

MOBRIDGE -- Three players scored in double figures to power Mobridge-Pollock to a girls basketball win over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte on Friday. 

Landyn Henderson led the Tigers with 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Reagan Weisbeck added 14 points and seven steals. Mariah Goehring finished with 12 points and four steals. Heidi Olson logged eight points, five assists, five steals and three rebounds. Emma Keller had five points and six rebounds. 

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte’s Cassie Carter had 13 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Shawnee Lawrence added nine points, while Kashlin Bettelyoun had four points and five rebounds. 

Florence-Henry 55, Tri-State, N.D., 34

HENRY -- Trinity Watson and Caylin Kelly combined for 44 points to power Florence-Henry to a girls basketball win over Tri-State, North Dakota, on Friday.

Watson finished with 27 points, six 3-pointers and six rebounds. Kelly added 17 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals, five assists and three blocks. Taylor Watson had five points and four rebounds. 

Tri-State’s Mary Rupp scored 10 points and Nora Braun added nine points. 

Redfield 57, Tiospa Zina 18

REDFIELD -- Redfield jumped out to a 42-12 halftime lead and defeated Tiospa Zina in girls basketball action on Friday. 

Gracie Fast finished with 17 points. Katie Rozell added 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Camryn Rohlfs and Chelsea Smith scored eight points apiece. Ellie Evans had seven points and Ashlyn Clausen scored five points. Smith grabbed 10 rebounds. 

Tiospa Zina’s Alexia Quinn netted eight points and Hannah Ziegler scored five points.
